How
Everything Started
Ginoco is the brand name of Gina Oil Corporation for its Extra Virgin
Organic Coconut Oil and its derivatives (aromatherapy oils, hand sanitizers,
insect repellent soap products). Gina Oil Corporation was founded early
2004 by Gina Fernandez Bartholomi, a native of Agdangan, Quezon province.
Quezon could be called “coconut country” with the thousands
and thousands of coconut trees growing in that province.
With the abundance or mature organic coconuts in her region, town and
property, Gina Fernandez Bartholomi decided to research and improve
the old fashioned way of producing coconut oil. She grew up with folks
boiling the coconut milk and producing an oil that her relatives were
using for all sorts of applications. But she did not like the texture
and the smell, especially the rancid smell of cooked coconut oil.
She made some research with some experts in cold processed coconut oil
and read the articles by some eminent doctors like Dr. Dayrit and Dr.
Fife. A long period of research and development started to master the
100 % cold processed way of producing the oil. Unlike other oill producers
who at some production stage use low or high heat (either during the
pressing, or during the curing or indirectly by mechanical ways like
centrifuge machines), Ginoco is 100 % cold pressed and processed with
absolutely no heat (either high or low) used during the process, thus
producing an oil which has kept all its vitamins, minerals, lauric acids
and nutrients and an oil which can been kept for at leat 2 years without
becoming rancid.
The laboratory where the oil is produced and cured was built following
the highest hygiene standards similar to food processing plant standards
abroad.
Ginoco is a Premium Grade Potent Healing Food and massage oil containing
up to 53% lauric acids. It has very little natural unsaturated oil and
trans-fatty acids. The suggested therapeutic dosage is: 3 to 4 tablespoons
daily taken orally or with food.
Ginoco follows high and strict processing standards of its extra virgin
organic oil: Oil is extracted from mature organic aged coconuts from
Agdangan, Quezon province
Ginoco does not apply any heat process during pressing or during any
stages of production of its extra virgin coconut oil. The result is
a purer oil which can be truly called Virgin, which keeps all its nutrients,
lauric acids, rich vitamins & minerals and vital amino-acids.
Ginoco is 100% cold pressed and natural:
No
refining
No bleaching
No heating
No deodorizers
No chemicals
No extenders
No preservative
No stabilizers
Ginoco naturally solidifies at 24 degrees C to become soft coconut butter.
Because of its natural tocopherol content, Ginoco does not turn rancid
and can easily be kept for 2 years.
Ginoco extra virgin organic coconut oil
is the purest juiciest natural oil.
Our Ginoco Extra Virgin Coconut Oil is truly 100% raw and natural. The
word “Extra” is used to signify that the oil is completely
raw and cold processed. No heat has been used in any stage of processing.
Ginoco is not made from dried coconut but from fresh, rich and mature
coconut. The highest temperature the Ginoco oil sees is well below the
heat that living and growing coconuts experience on the trees in the hot
tropical sun. Consequently, all the nutrients, such as vitamin E, remain
in the oil. This is a living oil full of nutrition, the way nature made
it. This is why our Ginoco oil retains a delicate coconut aroma and flavour,
without the roasted and rancid taste.
Some lower-quality oils are made from sun-dried or burned coconut (copra)
that are often contaminated with mold and bacteria. This type of oil may
be pale yellow in appearance. The discoloration is caused by residual
contaminants in the oil. Same with other oils which are derivative products
of coconut milk production: their oil is extracted from the boiling of
residues coming from the coconut milk production and are not true virgin
oils.
Although some oils will claim that their oil is “cold pressed”
or even raw, you can tell if heat has been used in processing by the flavour
or their oils.
Not all virgin coconut oils are of the same quality.
How do you tell them apart?
As the old saying goes: the proof is in the pudding. Take the taste
test and see for yourself. You will agree that Ginoco Extra Virgin Coconut
Oil is the highest quality, best tasting coconut oil on the market.
Beware of other oils’ labels that say: “cold pressed process”
(this does not mean it is cold processed) or “no high heat applied”
(this means that low heat was applied).

Ginoco
as Food Supplement (Internally) |

How much should
you use each day?
Any amount that you feel comfortable with. Even half a teaspoon
taken daily is beneficial. But the general recommendation
is 3 to 4 tablespoons a day for an average size adult. This
value is derived from the amount of medium-chain fatty acids
nature puts in human breast milk. The amount infants receive
protects them from infectious illness and provides adequate
nutritional support under normal circumstances.
You can consume the oil in any amount that is convenient to
you. Some take the oil by the spoonful like a dietary supplement.
Others mix it with juice or milk or food. The easiest way
to get your daily dose is by using the oil in your food preparation.
Add it to hot cocoa, herbal tea, juice, hot milk. Coconut
oil can also be added to many dishes. Use it as a spread on
bread, a topping on vegetables, add it to pasta, rice, casseroles,
soups, stews. It goes well with hot cereals. We particularly
like to consume our oil with dalandan or calamansi juice to
wash it down.
There is no danger of overdosing on coconut oil. Coconut oil
is a food, not a drug. Human populations have consumed twice
as much as the maintenance dose for years with no adverse
effects.
Coconut oil is not a drug and you cannot expect it to bring
about immediate results like with drugs. Unlike drugs, coconut
oil is a food and therefore, supports the body’s own
natural healing processes. You cannot expect chronic health
problems that have been present for years to vanish overnight.
Coconut in itself is not a cure for any particular disease
or health problem. What it does is provide the body with the
nutritional elements it needs to heal itself. You have to
wait for the body to do the healing. Sometimes this can take
awhile. Use coconut oil long enough to see the difference. |

The natural vitamin
E and other natural antioxidants makes the skin soft and
smooth, keeping you young looking and healthy, but without
the “oily-greasy” feel you normally get with
other massage oils because Ginoco is easily absorbed by
the skin. It aids in replacing the skin’s damaged
tissues caused by daily exposures to harsh environment.
The lauric acids present in Ginoco prevents fungal and bacterial
infections on the skin and reduces the symptoms associated
with dermatitis, psoriasis and eczema. It is taken as instant
first aid remedy for insect bites and wounds, skin allergies,
skin infections, dandruffs, diaper rash, viral, fungal or
bacterial.
Coconut oil makes the best massage oil because of its healing
properties. It improves skin health appearance and helps soothe
tight muscles. It is also considered a non-staining oil. This
is important to massage therapists, hotels, resorts and spas
who use sheets in their spa and massage areas. Ginoco absorbs
quickly into the skin and bloodstream unlike other oils.

Tips on Using Your Essential Oils
Steam Inhalation / Facial

Fill a fairly large bowl with very hot water and add a few
drops of the essential oil(s) of your choice. Drape a towel
over your head and and all around the bowl. Breathe in the
scented steam deeply for a few minutes - stop if you feel
hot.
Dry Inhalation

Place a few drops of essential oil on a handkerchief or cotton
ball and hold a few inches under your nose. Or, place a few
drops on your pillow (away from the eyes) before you sleep.
Aromatic Bath

Run a hot bath with door and windows closed. Mix 3-10 drops
of essential oil(s) in a small quantity of carrier oil or
fragrance-free shampoo or liquid soap or milk. Add the mixture
to your bath water. Then lie back and relax – essential
oils will be absorbed through the skin first, and then inhaled
as the oil evaporates in the steam from the bath. NOTE: Don’t
use soaps, bath oils or shampoos during an aromatic bath –
wash before your soak. Clean the bath out thoroughly afterwards.
Hot / Cold Compress
